Getting There
Shepherd of the Hills Fish Hatchery is located at 483 Hatchery Road and is accessible from Highway 165. The hatchery is situated 6 miles (10 km) southwest of Branson, Missouri below Table Rock Dam.
Hours & Times
The fish hatchery is open daily 9:00 - 18:00 June through August and 9:00 - 17:00 from September through May. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. Free guided hatchery tours are offered at 10:00, 11:00, 13:00 and 14.00 on weekdays from June through August. Special events are scheduled from time to time.
Things to Keep in Mind
Admission is free of charge. Bring quarters for fish food. While there is no fishing at the hatchery angling is possible year round along Lake Taneycomo. Of note, check regulations before fishing.
